Recently, China's National Health Commission (NHC) Government Services Platform issued notifications regarding the approval and review of “Thee new foods” (new food raw materials, new food additives, and new food-related products).

The notifications included an extension notice for12 new food-related products, a notification of approval of review findings for five new food additives and sixnew food-related products, a notification of a review opinion forone new food-related product, and four non-approval decisions.
