CIRS Group to Speak at the KCII Cosmetic Safety Assessors Training Meeting

CIRS Group is invited to speak at the three-day cosmetic safety assessors training held by the Korean Cosmetic Industry Institute (KCII) on October 7, 14, and 21, 2022. Vickey Tao, the technical director of cosmetics regulation of CIRS Group, is to give a speech at this training meeting. She will explain the requirements of China’s cosmetic safety assessment and share relevant cases to attendees, so as to improve the professional competence of cosmetic safety assessors in this training meeting.

The meeting is going to cover many topics, including:

  • domestic and foreign cosmetic safety management systems and policy trends,
  • exposure assessment and risk assessment of cosmetic ingredients and products, and
  • interpretation of toxicity reference values.

Speakers are from KCII, Ewha Womans University, Hoseo University, Changwon National University, KNA, KTR and CIRS. The aim of this training meeting is to cultivate the professional cosmetic safety assessors and further clarify the key issues in cosmetic safety assessment.

About the Training Meeting

In order to cultivate professional cosmetic safety assessors and help related enterprise better comply with cosmetics safety management standards, KCII is to host a three-day cosmetic safety assessors training meeting for relevant cosmetics enterprises on October 7, 14, and 21, 2022. Vickey Tao, Senior Regulatory Technical Advisor, Personal and Home Care Division of CIRS Group China

Ms Vickey Tao works in CIRS group for more than 6 years and is responsible for registration and filing work of both domestic and imported cosmetics. She has handed thousands of domestic and imported cosmetics to get approval in China especially including baby care cosmetics, skin care and make-up products for adults, and different types of special cosmetics such as sunscreen, whitening, anti-hair loss, hair dye, hair perm, etc. She graduated from China Jiliang University with Master Degree in Material Science and Engineering.
