Registration Deadline

The final regulation, updated from April 2024's draft, extends the chemical registration deadline. The following are the implemented changes.

Before Modification After Modification
Registration Volume Deadline Registration Volume Deadline
Over 1000 tons Before June 1, 2025 Over 1000 tons October 1, 2026
100-1000 tons Before June 1, 2026 100-1000 tons June 1, 2028
1-100 tons Before June 1, 2027 1-100 tons March 1, 2030

The pre-registration deadline, crucial for businesses, is set for January 23, 2026. This process will simplify registration for chemicals already on the Ukrainian market, ensuring ongoing market operations during full registration.

Warm Reminder

The extension of Ukraine's REACH registration deadline eases initial compliance pressures and facilitates a smooth transition. As the regulation activates on January 23, 2025, companies should actively engage and stay updated on guidelines to ensure timely registration and strategic market positioning.
