Taiwan Released the Hazardous Classification of GHS for about 6000 Substances

from CIRS by

The GHS hazardous classification of about 6000 substances has been released by Taiwan OSHA. Most of the contents are consistent with that of the EU CLP.

The classification was set up based on two main aspects:

1. C&L inventory of ECHA and the database of the registered substances under REACH

2. Advisory GHS classifications among main countries of the world

The revised GHS CNS15030 has come into force on 1 January 2016. It is applicable to all the handling, using and manufacturing in the workplace.

The guidance and related documents have been released by Taiwan MOL. Enterprises can use those information to comply with the new GHS requirement.

CIRS has a strong GHS department, which is responsible for the global GHS related services. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: service@hfoushi.com
