CIRS REACH Regulation Seminar Tours in 2017

from cirs by

Background

On 1 June 2007, the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (also known as EU REACH) formally went into effect. After all these years of implementation, its framework and contents become impeccable and comprehensive. Now, the deadline of late pre-registration, which is 31 May 2017, is just around the corner and the pre-registration number will be invalid after 31 May 2018.

Additionally, a number of countries, such as China, USA, Australia, Canada and Korea also structured their own regulations systems on the basis of EU REACH.

How to catch the last chance of late pre-registration? How to get through the last transitional period of EU REACH? How to comply with other REACH-like regulations? These questions may confuse enterprises for a long time. In order to help company to understand EU REACH and other similar regulations better, CIRS will hold REACH Regulation Seminar Tours in 2017 from March to May.

Highlight

- The late pre-registration will be closed on 31 May 2017

From 1 June 2017, ECHA will stop accepting late pre-registration application; therefore, this is the last chance to complete late pre-registration. CIRS suggests enterprises to screen out substances, which will be exported to Europe in the following one year, with an annual volume of less than 100t/y and get pre-registration numbers.

- The deadline of REACH registration is approaching

After 31 May 2018, all pre-registration number will be no longer in force. Facing new challenge and new characteristic of EU REACH, how can companies complete formal registration smoothly? How can registered companies expand business by taking advantage of REACH registration? Company can find answers in Seminar.

- The updates on chemical regulations in Asia-pacific

The regulations influencing export activities of chemical companies will be introduced in the seminar, for instance, new chemical substance notification in China (MEP Order No.7), TSCA Reform in USA, K-REACH in Korea, NSNR in Canada, NICNAS in Australia.

- The implementation of global GHS

As people are aware of the risk of hazardous chemicals, the management of hazardous chemicals around the globe becomes stricter. The technique barrier is now inevitable for all export chemical enterprises.
